The ‘crosshair’ tool enables you to accurately and specifically position a topic when creating, moving or pasting.

To specify where the next topic should be pasted or created simply touch the background ‘canvas’ and a cross-hair will appear

Then select create (sibling or child) from the toolbar (or paste) and the new/pasted topic will be positioned where the cross-hair is.

The cross-hair will be removed if a different topic is selected.

The crosshair feature can be disabled in the iThoughts section of the Settings app.

TIP: By touching the cross-hair itself, the currently selected topic will move to that location. This is an excellent way to move a topic over a long distance - saves cut/paste or multiple drag operations.
